Scantic Valley Farm has been in our family since 1936. My husband I married in 1994 and launched into farming with the purchasing a bred Belted Galloway cow as a wedding gift to each other! For the past 25 years our farm has consistently evolved and grown to be the farm it is today. We currently raise a herd of Belted Galloway beef cattle and heritage pigs for meat production. We grow about 8 acres of Pick-Your-Own fruit including strawberries and blueberries. We are thrilled to have expanded the farm into cut-flowers for both sales at our berry booth, Flowers Bars, Workshops and for event work.
