Pond Hill Farm is a small 2 acre farm near Kittanning, PA (about 35 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh). We have grown wholesale fresh cut flowers for 8 years now. We are growing around 4000 ranunculus, 2500 tulips, and 2100 dahlias this year! Place orders through 3 Rivers Flower Cooperative.

CELOSIA argentea spicata Flamingo Feather
Smaller spikes in a shimmery pale pink. Many stems have small clusters of spikes. 18+ inch stems
ELAEAGNUS umbellata
Autumn olive foliage. Long (2 foot+) woody stems with lots to work with. Leaves are green on one side and silver on the back. Careful! They do have a few thorns.
COSMOS bipinnatus Versailles Flush
The softest blush cosmos ever. Many blooms are plain white. Dreamy! 18-22” stems
COSMOS bipinnatus Double Click Cranberry
A very saturated cosmo with shades of wine and fuchsia. Stems 18-22”
PANICUM violaceum Green Drops
Drooping branches with large green and burgundy seed pods. Stems 16-20”
DAHLIA Ball
Mixed peach ball dahlias. Varieties picked from: clearview peachy, snoho Doris, jowey Winnie, Crichton honey, Natalie G, Valley Tawny, and a few others depending on time of season. These varieties are a DREAM together. Some favor a bit more pink and other a bit more orange/gold. **If you prefer one variety, please include a note with your order. :-) Average 3" blooms. All dahlias are harvested within 24 hours of pick up, harvesting at cooler times of day for longer vase life. Stored at 39 degrees. Dahlias should be harvested 75% open (or more) and typically have a vase life of 5-6 days.

Yellow/peachy decorative mix. Varieties include: miss Amara, Bracken Sarah, and Wyn’s new pastel. All these varieties play well together. All are yellow base color with a lot of GOLDEN/PEACHY undertones. Works well with peach and pink palettes. These varieties are all show offs and draw a lot of attention to them because of depth of color/form. All average 5 inch blooms and have good vase life for dahlias. All dahlias are harvested within 24 hours of pick up, harvesting at cooler times of day for longer vase life. Stored at 39 degrees. Dahlias should be harvested 75% open (or more) and typically have a vase life of 5-6 days.
DAHLIA Ball
MIXED ORANGE BALL DAHLIAS. Picking from the following varieties: Sylvia, rose toscano, MD Uncle John and cornel bronze. These two varieties play well together. Both are a solid fruity/pumpkin orange. Average 3” blooms. All dahlias are harvested within 24 hours of pick up, harvesting at cooler times of day for longer vase life. Stored at 39 degrees. Dahlias should be harvested 75% open (or more) and typically have a vase life of 5-6 days.
PHYTOLACCA americana
Branches with green and pink berries and several white and pink blooms. Pokeweed brings whimsy and movement to the project. Our pokeweed is foraged from our farmland. Pokeweed is poisonous.
DAHLIA Zundert Mystery Fox
Variety: Zundert mystery fox. Unique color that is hard to come by. Coral, dusty raspberry. Blends well with peachy vibes and jewel tone vibes. One of my favorites to blend palettes with. Average 2-2.5” blooms. All dahlias are harvested within 24 hours of pick up, harvesting at cooler times of day for longer vase life. Stored at 39 degrees.
