Lazy Acres Farm

Farmingdale, ME
FARM

We are a small family farm just outside Augusta, Maine specializing in sustainably raised seasonal cut flowers. We grow annuals and perennials including hundreds of peonies. We start seeds in a heated greenhouse then transplant into our high tunnel and fields. From sweet peas, tulips and ranunculus in spring, to lisianthus and dahlias in summer, we focus on all those specialty cuts that don't always import well. We grow many specialty zinnias, sunflowers, and many other annuals as well as foliage and textural accents. We dry many of our flowers and offer dried flowers in the fall. We encourage you to come visit the farm and/or make special planting requests as we're happy to grow/trial new varieties should there be demand.
