I am a flower farmer and floral designer on the Central Coast of California. Previous to becoming a flower farmer, I was a photographer for 25 years in Santa Monica. I have been growing for about 7 years now. My winter crop (and my specialty) is over 45 different varieties of Protea. I have about 2 acres planted and over 100 protea family plants planted. My summer main crop are 900+ dahlias and then I grow smaller Amounts of lots of other blooms.
