Established in 2017, Bella Terra Flower Farm is a small, family-run business where we grow the highest quality cut flowers on our one-acre farm in Ann Arbor using organic and regenerative farming practices. We specialize in unique, heirloom and specialty blooms that you simply can’t find from a traditional wholesaler. Since nothing offers pure, simple delight quite like flowers, we are grateful for the ability to share the Earth’s bounty with others. Bella Terra literally means “beautiful earth”, which is what we strive for. As sustainable growers, we take extra measures to be gentle with the land. We squeeze a lot of blooms into a small growing space, which requires us to really focus on soil fertility and biodiversity. By supporting the local flower movement, we help reduce the carbon footprint and eliminate waste within the floral industry. We use as little plastic as possible, especially single-use plastics. We create beauty for the human species while minimizing harm to other species. And we always leave some blooms in the field for the pollinators, essential to our food source. Our goal is to leave our small patch of Earth a little better than we found it.
